Great Lakes Sewage Report

Would you drink the water in Lake Ontario? Would you swim in it?
If you watch the CBC news, then you would have already seen Dr. Elaine MacDonald talk about the “Great Lakes Sewage Report.” Here is a link to the article. The report is not positive!
Here is a link to the discovery channel’s take on the report.
As well, another link to the Daily Grist environmental news.
Why am I making such a fuss over this? Well, it just so happens that Dan (yes, Dan “the man”) helped write and publish the official research report from Sierra Legal. If you click here, you can see the official media report in PDF format (with Dan’s name on it!).
Congratulations Dan.

Lets not forget that the “dead spot” in Lake Erie is making a comeback, and there’s a huge, toxic, petro-chemical ‘blob’ in Hamilton harbour that’s been there for decades……Carefully plotting to take over the world.
‘Randle Reef is a problem from our past. Located in the industrial corner of Hamilton Harbour, it’s the name for a blob of coal tar dumped in the water before the 1960s and prior to pollution laws. Randle Reef is the most contaminated site in the Harbour and the worst Canadian site of its kind in the Great Lakes.’
Its a good idea to read the report, before you swim.
