In that moment of panic that accompanied the announcement of the bar being closed, we had to amuse ourselves. Among trying to find “chews” for quarters, we purchased 1991 Fleer Basketball and Baseball Card packs. Dan and Jon were able to uncover some gems last night including a Kevin Brown, a Marquis Grissom, and a picture of Frank Viola holding an apple:

But the cream of the crop was the Tom Chambers Fleer 1991 card. Not because it’s valuable, or anything. Simply because Tom Chambers looks like Don Johnson on crack.

Tom Chambers once dunked over 4 Boston Celtic players… on a reverse. He was simply hardcore. The crew down at the Fanhouse NBA Blog have even offered the hypothesis that Tom Chambers is the best white dunker of all time. Have a look for yourself as he flies over Marc Jackson:
